SREEPEETHAM


Sreepeetham, a sacred center of Vedic learning and Advaitha philosophy as expounded by Sri Adi Sankara, is situated in Kakinada, 5 Km from Kakinada Town Railway Station  in the East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. It is situated in a site of Three Acres in lush green serene locale of divine ambience.
‘Sree’ stands for all that is auspicious and good. ‘Peetham’ means ‘seat’. The ‘Sreepeetham’ was established by Sri Sri Sri Swami Paripoornaananda Saraswathi as a great Seat of sacred Wisdom to propagate the Sanatana Dharma of Vedas and Vedanta.
Swami Paripoornaananda Saraswathi was born on 1st November 1972 in a traditional family. After his formal education, he joined a Vedic school to study Krishna YajurVeda. Later he developed keen interest to pursue the meaning of Vedic philosophy in depth under the able guidance of Pujyasri Swami Dayaananda Saraswathi, a renowned sage of India, hailing from the lineage of Sri Adi Shankara.                                                                                         Swami Paripoornaananda Saraswathi, blessed and inspired by his Guru, took up the task of disseminating the universal message of Vedas & Vedanta with supreme dedication. Swamiji realised the importance of balancing Knowledge and Action in individual and social life.
